A ground screw foundation is only part of the build. The structure above it needs a properly designed subframe to ensure everything remains level, supported and ready for installation.

At Rapid Foundations, we design and build bespoke timber subframes in-house for garden rooms, holiday lodges, glamping pods, modular buildings, decking and other raised structures. We’ve worked in partnership with numerous lodge and modular building manufacturers to get their projects turned around at a faster rate.

IN HOUSE DESIGN AND FITTING

Every project is different. We design each subframe to suit the building, site conditions and foundation layout, ensuring loads are transferred correctly into the ground screw system below.

By manufacturing our own timber subframes, we maintain control over quality, accuracy and lead times. It also allows us to coordinate the foundation and subframe design as one complete package.

IDEAL FOR SLOPING SITES

Timber subframes work particularly well on sloping sites where traditional foundations would require significant excavation. Ground screws and timber framing can often create a level platform without major groundwork.
